The Siberian Husky was developed in the antiquity by the Chukchi of the Asian northeast that wanted a dog hard of sled, with force, speed and resistance. They were recognized their abilities more thoroughly, during the fever of the gold that arrived with the century, in Alaska, when the sleds thrown by dogs were the only form of available transport. There was a considerable rivalry among the teams of dogs, and the Huskies they became famous in the careers of sleds. It became popular during the second world war, for their search work and rescue. In the following decade it won considerable popularity in America, and around 1960 it was already very introduced in the United Kingdom and other places.
Character and taken care
The Siberian Husky is an intelligent and friendly animal with a considerable resistance. It is not aggressive and one can have as company animal, whenever he/she is given some work and a lot of space and exercise.
